St Pat's goal fest secures ladies opening game

An enthralling opening to the ladies Senior league Div2 took place in Louis Leonard memorial park as 9 goals were scored between St Pats and Enniskillen. With the men recording victory over the same opponents the ladies were under pressure to have the same result. St Pats have always managed to cope with Enniskillen at Donagh and this game was of the same spirit. St Pats took the lead in the first half as Sabrina Barrett and Katie Feely were weaving their magic at full forward. St Pats lead throughout but showed signs of weakness when Enniskillen were playing with 12 players to St Pat's 13. Lynn McFredrick sent to the bin for a high tackle on Helen Davis. It was in this spell when the Gaels played their best football and maybe this comes from the over reliance on McFredrick. St Pats held onto their lead and ran out deserved winners in the end.
